Summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling 40,922 vehicles, including the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid and several Lexus models (2025 NX250, NX350, NX350 Hybrid, and 2024-2025 RX350, RX350 Hybrid, and RX500 Hybrid). The second-row center seat belt webbing in these vehicles may be damaged, which prevents the assembly from meeting federal safety standards. Owners will be asked to bring their vehicles to a dealer for a free inspection and, if damage is found, a replacement of the seat belt assembly.

Risk

A damaged seat belt may not be strong enough to properly hold a passenger in place during a collision. This increases the risk of serious injury or death during a crash.
