Summary

Zero Motorcycles is recalling approximately 44 units of certain 2024 DSR/X, DS, DSR, and DSRP motorcycles. The front brake hose on these vehicles may have been installed with a twist, which can lead to physical damage over time and cause brake fluid to leak. If fluid leaks, the motorcycle can experience a sudden loss of brake pressure, making it difficult or impossible to stop effectively. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the front brake hose free of charge.

Risk

A twisted brake hose can fail and leak fluid, leading to a loss of brake pressure. This reduces the motorcycle's braking ability, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.
