Additionally, the Crecelac Infant formula tested positive for Cronobacter bacteria during FDA sampling. These products were distributed throughout Texas in 12.4 oz cans.
Cronobacter bacteria can cause life-threatening infections such as sepsis or meningitis in infants. Symptoms may include poor feeding, irritability, temperature changes, jaundice, grunting breaths, or abnormal body movements.
