Summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing (formerly Goodman Manufacturing) is expanding its recall of evaporator coil drain pans to include about 298,300 units. The molded plastic drain pan at the bottom of the evaporator coil can overheat and melt, posing a fire hazard. This recall expansion now includes drain pans installed with certain non-condensing gas furnaces from competitor brands in addition to previously recalled condensing furnace systems.
