Coulter Ventures is recalling approximately 875 Rogue Fitness MobilityWOD Door Anchors. The nylon strap on these devices can pull out from the red plastic anchor during use, causing users to lose their balance and fall or be struck by recoiling hardware. There have been three reports of the strap pulling free, including one report of a minor laceration. These anchors were sold exclusively on Rogue Fitness websites between March 2015 and April 2015 for about $25.
The nylon strap can detach from the plastic anchor while under tension, which may cause a user to fall or result in the metal carabiner and ring snapping back and hitting the user. One consumer has already reported a minor cut as a result of this defect.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled door anchor and contact Coulter to receive a full credit or full refund.
