Summary

Imagine Fiberglass Products Inc. is recalling 25 travel trailers, including the 2021-2023 L'Air Trillium Heritage 1300/4500 and Lion 1300/4500 models. These vehicles are equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops (part number 3032AST) where internal aluminum burner tubes may fracture. This defect can cause a gas leak, which creates a significant safety hazard for occupants. Authorized dealers will install a regulator support bracket to fix the issue at no cost to owners.

Risk

The internal aluminum burner tubes connecting to the gas valves can crack or break, allowing gas to escape into the living area of the trailer. If this gas leak encounters an ignition source, such as a pilot light or a match, it can result in a fire.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your travel trailer is affected by checking the model and year: this recall includes 2021-2023 L'Air Trillium Heritage 1300/4500 and Lion 1300/4500 models.
  2. Locate the cooktop in your trailer and verify if it is an SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktop with part number 3032AST.
  3. Contact Imagine Fiberglass Products (IFP) customer service at 1-519-804-8751 to schedule a free repair; refer to IFP recall number 2023-01.
  4. Take your vehicle to an authorized dealer who will install a regulator support bracket free of charge to prevent the burner tubes from fracturing.
