Summary

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling 757 model year 2021-2023 Toyhauler and Quest trailers that are equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves in these cooktops may fracture, resulting in a hazardous gas leak. Aluminum Trailer Company will provide a free regulator support bracket to be installed by dealers to resolve the issue.

Risk

A fracture in the burner tubes can cause gas to escape into the trailer; if this gas encounters an ignition source, it can cause a fire or explosion.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your trailer is a 2021-2023 Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) Toyhauler or Quest model equipped with an SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktop.
  2. Contact an authorized Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) dealer to schedule a free installation of a regulator support bracket.
