2022-2025 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager Recalled for Airbag Defect

Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 250,651 vehicles, including certain 2022-2025 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager models. The side curtain airbags on both the right and left sides may have improperly sealed seams, which can prevent the bags from holding enough air pressure when they deploy. Dealers will replace these side curtain airbags free of charge to ensure they meet federal safety standards. This recall replaces a previous recall (25V302), and vehicles that were already repaired under the older recall must have this new repair completed.

Risk

Airbags with improperly sealed seams may not maintain enough pressure during a crash. This failure increases the risk that occupants could be injured or ejected from the vehicle during a collision.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall affects 2022-2025 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles where the side curtain airbags may not function correctly due to insufficient pressure retention.
  2. Contact an authorized Chrysler dealer to schedule a free replacement of the side curtain airbags.
  3. If your vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA recall number 25V302, you must still bring the vehicle in to have this new remedy completed under recall number 26V189.
  4. For more information, contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 and mention recall codes 06C, 54C, or 55C.
  5. Call the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls for additional details regarding this safety campaign.
