Summary

CFMOTO is recalling about 2,050 model year 2021 CFORCE 800XC All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). These vehicles were sold in orange, blue, silver, and camouflage at CFMOTO dealers nationwide from September 2020 through April 2021. The recall was issued because the electronic power steering (EPS) can malfunction, leading to a loss of control and potential crash. Consumers are advised to stop using the vehicles and contact a dealer for a free repair.

Risk

The electronic power steering (EPS) system can fail while in use, causing the rider to lose control of the vehicle and crash. CFMOTO has received three reports of EPS failure and loss of control, resulting in two reported injuries.
