BSH Home Appliances is recalling about 149,000 Bosch, Gaggenau, Kenmore Elite, and Thermador dishwashers because the power cord can overheat. The company has received 10 reports of cords overheating, including five reports of fires that caused property damage. These dishwashers were sold nationwide at appliance stores and online from January 2009 through May 2014 for between $850 and $2600.   3. Check if your Gaggenau dishwasher has model number DF2417, DF2607, or DF2617 with a serial number in the range FD 8904 to FD 9312.
  4. Check if your Thermador dishwasher has model number DWHD64 or DWHD65 with a serial number in the range FD 8908 to FD 9312.
  5. Check if your Kenmore Elite dishwasher has model number 630.13003, 630.13023, 630.13993, or 630.14003 with a serial number beginning with 010 or 013.
  6. If your dishwasher is affected, immediately stop using it and contact the BSH Home Appliances Repair Hotline toll-free at 888-965-5813 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST Monday through Sunday to schedule a free inspection and repair.
