What You Should Do

1. Locate the model and serial numbers on the top side of the dishwasher's inner door panel to see if your unit is affected.
2. Check if your Bosch dishwasher has a model number starting with SGE63E, SGV63E, SHE68E, SHE7ER, SHE8ER, SHE9ER, SHE9PT, SHV58E, SHV68E, SHV7ER, SHV9ER, SHV9PT, SHX58E, SHX5ER, SHX68E, SHX7ER, SHX8ER, SHX9ER, SHX9PT, SPE5ES, SPV5ES, or SPX5ES with a serial number in the range FD 8801 to FD 9312.
3. Check if your Gaggenau dishwasher has model number DF2417, DF2607, or DF2617 with a serial number in the range FD 8904 to FD 9312.
4. Check if your Thermador dishwasher has model number DWHD64 or DWHD65 with a serial number in the range FD 8908 to FD 9312.
5. Check if your Kenmore Elite dishwasher has model number 630.13003, 630.13023, 630.13993, or 630.14003 with a serial number beginning with 010 or 013.
6. If your dishwasher is affected, immediately stop using it and contact the BSH Home Appliances Repair Hotline toll-free at 888-965-5813 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST Monday through Sunday to schedule a free inspection and repair.
