Summary

Temsa is recalling 594 buses, including 2021-2025 TS30 and TS35 models and 2021-2026 TS45 models, that are equipped with a Mux5-B multiplex system. A valve in the temporary bus stop system can activate on its own, applying the brakes without driver input and causing them to overheat. Temsa will provide a free inspection, software update, and wiring harness repair to resolve the issue.

Risk

When the brakes engage unexpectedly and overheat, there is a significantly increased risk of a fire occurring, which can lead to property damage or injuries to passengers and others nearby.
