Summary

International Motors, LLC is recalling approximately 159 of its 2019-2020 CV vehicles. The brake pressure switch harness in these trucks may lack protective material on the wires, which can cause a short circuit and decrease braking power. Dealers will add protective material and reinstall the harness free of charge to resolve the issue.

Risk

A short circuit in the brake harness can significantly reduce braking performance and extend the distance required to stop, which increases the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall affects 2019-2020 International CV vehicles where the brake pressure switch harness wires may not have proper protective material.
  2. Beginning December 19, 2025, visit NHTSA.gov/recalls to search for your 17-character Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to confirm if your specific vehicle is included in this recall.
  3. If your vehicle was previously repaired under recall numbers 23V282 or 25V414, it must still be brought in for this new remedy to ensure the harness is properly protected.
  4. Contact an authorized International dealer to schedule a free repair where technicians will remove, add protective material to, and reinstall the brake pressure switch harness.
  5. For further information, contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825 and reference recall number 25521.
