Summary

Jayco, Inc. is recalling approximately 118 of its 2022 Greyhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Melbourne, Redhawk, and Entegra Coach Odyssey recreational vehicles. The electric retractable awnings on these vehicles have a welded seam on the fabric that can separate, which may cause the awning to drop unexpectedly. Dealers will inspect the awning and either repair or replace the fabric free of charge to ensure it operates safely.

Risk

The awning fabric can separate at the seam, causing the heavy awning to drop or extend beyond its normal range. This sudden movement can strike individuals nearby, increasing the risk of injury.
