This can lead to a sudden loss of buoyancy control. The firm has received one report of a diver losing buoyancy control due to this defect, though no injuries have been reported. These BCDs feature gray or orange metal components and were sold at dive stores and online between August 2021 and June 2022. Affected consumers should stop using the device and return it for a free repair.
