This recall involves approximately 2,100 Anker Power Banks with model numbers A1642, A1647, and A1652. The lithium-ion battery in these portable charging devices can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. Anker has received 28 reports of the batteries overheating, exploding, or catching fire, including two reports of first and second-degree burns to consumers' hands. These power banks were sold nationwide at retailers like Best Buy and Target, and online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com, between January 2024 and July 2024.
